Why Work At FAASS?

FAASS is a unique family centre providing 12-week residential placements for parents and their babies, where parenting support needs have been identified by Social Services.

The babies may have been identified as being at risk of trauma, neglect or abuse. The parent(s) may have learning difficulties, or have been previously impacted by drugs, alcohol or domestic instability, which has impacted on their ability to properly care for their baby.

Throughout the residential placement, our team give the parents advice, basic training and support to help them develop the skills needed to keep their baby safe and nurtured. Our staff record observations of each family’s progress as part of or assessment service, working in partnership with both Social Services and the family court.

The whole team have a child-focused approach, combined with their commitment to learning and improvement they have gained a reputation for service excellence.

Sessional Day and Night Support Workers

Shift Times-12 hour day shifts (9am-9pm) and 13 hour night shifts (8:30pm-09:30am)

Pay: £14.03-£20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 12 – 48 per week
